Each Certificate of Appreciation features remarks from President Gerald Ford on the occasion of a special memorial tree planted for Veterans Day in 1976.  That memorial tree, which was also planted commemorating the 200th year of our country, will be honored by each additional tree planting that you as the TreeGivers community plants nationwide for Veterans Day 2023!
